Trevor McCall Peat

Trevor McCall grew up in White River, situated in the north eastern region of South Africa. He comes from a family of wildlife fanatics, who are often not found very far from the bush. For a time while he was growing up, Trevor’s mother worked extensively in the bush, and he spent the majority of his weekends with his family in the Kruger National Park, or various other game lodges. From an early age he loved animals and wildlife.

Keeping the family dynasty alive (Trevor’s brother is also a field guide), he chose to follow the same path. He has experience working in the Western Cape as well as the lowveld, with 4 years at the prestigious Londlozi Game Reserve.

Just over a year ago, Trevor left the bush to join a small photographic company, where he gained more photographic experience before joining the Wild Eye team.

His passion for wildlife sparked his love of photography, and he hasn’t looked back since. He looks forward to finding out what the future holds, travelling to new destinations, enjoying nature, and combining his love of wildlife and photography.
